CA Customers and Sales Tax

A note for all CALIFORNIA RESIDENTS when purchasing from the L.A. Wheel Store: When purchasing a set of wheels as part of the Wheel Exchange Program, our website currently charges sales tax on the TOTAL PRICE, which may include the Security Deposit and the Discounted Return Shipping Labels.  This pricing is incorrect, and is a product of the complex tax rules in California and their interaction with our shopping cart software.

YOU WILL BE REFUNDED THE APPROPRIATE DIFFERENCE WHEN YOUR ORDER IS PROCESSED ON OUR END.

We won't leave you hanging with those charges!  The refund for this tax error will be processed within 48 hours of placing your order; note that it may take a little longer for your bank to apply the refund (usually 3-5 business days, maximum). We sincerely apologize for this error in our shopping cart system, and are currently working on a comprehensive resolution.
